First, it must be said, not all dabs are created equal. There are a few concerns to consider before using dabs from just anywhere.

Make sure you acquire your concentrates from a reputable source who has properly maintained equipment and supplies to properly purge any and all chemicals during their extraction process. Did they have their product tested? If you get it from an official source they had it tested!


The effects of doing a dab are extreme to say the least.

One of the most common dangers of dabbing for new users is the often intense urge to fall asleep an hour or two after consuming your dab. You'll want to keep in mind that you are vaporizing a concentrated version of the dry herb so the outcome will also be concetrated. However, the affects are different for each individual.

If you do not frequently use cannabis, you will want to start off with a very small amount to avoid potential discomfort and sudden crash. This is where a dab pens become very useful in providing the user with a measured pull with each breath.

There are very few dangers to using a vape pen, but there are a few.

  • Slower flow makes it easier to take too many pulls before feeling the full affects
  • If over charged your battery may explode

Using a dab rig for the first time can be tricky to navigate.

  • Hot glass or metal nails burn easily
  • Inexperience
